SHAKESPEARE, ONTARIO (July 7, 2008)- Grand Bend Motorplex will host the Stratford Spectacular this coming weekend. T.J. Schippling will be behind the wheel of the Lucas Oil/ Dixie Chopper dragster as part of the Armando’s Pizza Top Dragster Series.

“The Stratford Spectacular is an event we always look forward to,” said Schippling. “The promoters always do an excellent job with the city of Stratford to bring a lot of fans and race cars, and make this a fun event for everyone.”

Schippling is also excited to promote his longtime sponsors Bella Water Express and Fastpixs Digital Media, both from Stratford, Ontario.

“This event gives us a great opportunity to showcase Bella Water to their customers at the track. With a large contingent of fans coming from the Stratford area we build programs tailored around this event.

“I am very grateful for the support of Jamie Allen and Bella Water Express. They are a complete water resource centre.”

Points from June 28 are not included until the event is completed on August 9. Therefor, Schippling and the Lucas Oil/ Dixie Chopper team enter this weekends race in Grand Bend, Ontario tied in the third position of the Armando’s Pizza Top Dragster Series. Qualifying begins Saturday at 3:30 PM. Eliminations are on Sunday.
